Instructions

  1. Dump the lean ground beef into a large mixing bowl.
  2. Add the egg, onion soup mix and milk to the bowl.
  3. Place the Ritz crackers in a ziploc bag and crush them with a rolling pin or heavy bottomed pot.
  4. Pour the cracker crumbs into the bowl with the ground beef.
  5. Use your hands to combine all of the ingredients well.
  6. Divide the meat mixture into four evenly sized balls.
  7. Flatten the balls into patties.
  8. Heat the olive oil in a large saute pan over medium-high heat.

  • 1/2 cup salted butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, roughly chopped
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1 tsp. thyme
  • 1/2 tsp. rosemary
  • 1/2 tsp. onion powder

Instructions 

  1. Add the halved corn to the side of the slow cooker.
  2. Add the potatoes to the other side.

  1. Add sliced carrots, celery, onion, & garlic to the bottom of a slow cooker.
  2. Pound steaks with a meat tenderizer to ¼ inch thickness and season with salt and pepper (cube steaks do not need to be pounded). Put flour in a shallow dish or plate and dredge each steak in the flour mixture.
  3. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and brown steaks on both sides, about 2 minutes per side adding more oil if needed.
  4. In the same pan, add wine and scrape up any brown bits. Add to the slow cooker with remaining ingredients except for the cornstarch.

  1. Thinly slice flank steak into strips (be sure to slice against the grain).

  • 10.75 ounce can cream of chicken soup (see notes below about low or no sodium)
  • 10.5 ounce can French onion soup (see notes below about low or no sodium)
  • 1 packet au jus gravy mix (see notes below)
  • ½ cup water
  • 4 cubed steaks
To thicken gravy:
  • 3 Tablespoons cornstarch
  • 3 Tablespoons cold water

Instructions

  1. In the bottom of a 6-quart slow cooker, combine 10.75 ounce can cream of chicken soup, 10.5 ounce can French onion soup, 1 packet au jus gravy mix and 1/2 cup water. Stir well.
  2. Put 4 cubed steaks into gravy mixture and make sure it is coated well.
  3. Cover slow cooker and cook steak on low for 6-8 hours.
  4. After cooking, it’s time to thicken gravy. In a small bowl, whisk together 3 Tablespoons cornstarch and 3 Tablespoons cold water. Stir mixture into crock pot. You do not need to remove the cubed steaks to do this unless you find it easier to whisk it in. I would put the cubed steaks back in the pot as soon as you’ve mixed it in.
  5. Turn the setting to high and cook for 30 minutes (until gravy is thickened.) Then serve!
  • NOTE: If you are sensitive to salt, don’t enjoy salted food or need lower sodium for dietary restrictions, you will need to purchase lower sodium or no sodium options where possible. You can always season with additional salt yourself if you prefer.

Instructions

  1. Place your steak in bottom of crock pot.
  2. In bowl mix together your olive oil, orange juice, worcestershire sauce, cilantro, garlic, honey, chili powder and cumin and stir until blended.

Notes

  • Make sure you cook on low, do not take any shortcuts and cook on high, this will produce a tougher cut of meat and you want fall apart.
  • Refrigerate the sauce for a little bit before serving, let the flavors marry.
  • If you cant find flank steak, skirt steak can also be used.
  • Let the meat rest in the liquid after shredding so it can soak up some flavors, if you’re worried about the tacos being too juicy, double up on the tortillas!

Instructions 

  1. Pat the steak dry and season it generously with salt and pepper. Heat 1 Tablespoon of oil in a large dutch oven or skillet over medium-high heat. Working in two to three batches, sear the steak for 1-2 minutes on two sides, adding more oil as needed. Remove the beef chunks after each batch and transfer to the slow cooker.

  • 1 cup salsa
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoon water
  • 10 corn tortillas (7 inch tortillas)
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese (shredded)
  • 1 cup monterrey jack cheese (shredded)
  • fresh cilantro (chopped)

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Place the roast in a 6 quart slow cooker. Season the roast with salt, pepper, cumin, chili powder, and minced garlic.  Add the salsa, beef broth and apple cider vinegar to the slow cooker.
  2. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or on high for 4-5 hours or until beef shreds easily.
  3. Remove the roast to a large plate and shred.
  4. Remove one cup of the liquid from the crock pot and place it in a saucepan.  Stir the meat back into the remaining sauce in the crock pot.  
  5. Heat the sauce in the saucepan over medium heat.  In a small bowl whisk together the water and the cornstarch until combined.  Whisk this mixture into the saucepan and heat until the sauce thickens.  
  6. Meanwhile, heat up the corn tortillas until soft. Mix both of the shredded cheeses together in a small bowl and preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.  
  7. Spread some of the sauce onto the bottom of a 9X13 baking pan.  Spoon desired amount of beef in each tortilla.  Sprinkle with a small amount of shredded cheese.  Roll and place (seam down) in a 9X13 baking pan.
  8. Spoon the remaining sauce from the saucepan over the enchiladas. Top with the remaining shredded cheese.
  9. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes until heated through.
  10. Let the enchiladas rest for 5-10 minutes.  Top with the fresh chopped cilantro.  Serve warm and enjoy! 

Slow Cooker Shredded Beef Steak Nachos

These Slow Cooker Shredded Beef Nachos are topped with juicy shredded beef and loaded with bold flavors and a delicious avocado salsa.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. chuck roast, trimmed
  • 1 yellow onion, diced
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 1 jalapeño, seeded and diced
Spice Rub:
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
For the Avocado Pico de Gallo
  • 3 large Avocados, pitted and diced
  • 3 Roma tomatoes, seeded and diced
  • 1/3 cup diced purple onion
  • 1 jalapeño, seeded and diced
  • 2 tbsp chopped cilantro
  • 1 tbsp lime juice, about 1/2 of a lime
  • 1/4 tsp salt
For the Nachos:
  • Tortilla chips
  • sour cream
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

Instructions

For The Shredded Beef
  1. Combine all the spice rub ingredients in a small bowl. Generously rub all over the chuck roast steak. Place in the bottom of a slow cooker, top with the diced peppers and onions. Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours.
For The Pico de Gallo
  • Combine the Avocado Pico de Gallo ingredients in a bowl, and gently stir to combine. Cover and place in fridge until ready to use.
  • Once beef is tender, use two forks to shred the steak (should fall apart very easily).
Assemble Nachos:
  1. Place a pile of tortilla chips on a plate, cover with the hot carne asada, some shredded cheese, a nice helping of avocado pico, and some sour cream.If desired, you can pop the nachos under the broiler in your oven to melt the cheese more.

Slow Cooker Cheesesteak Quesadillas

Slow Cooker Cheesesteak Quesadillas are so easy and a real crowd pleaser. Tik Tok has been going crazy for take out cheesesteak quesadillas but they are so easy to make right in the crockpot at home!

  • Prep: 15 mins

  • Servings: 4

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds top sirloin steak, cut into strips
  • 2 cups of frozen peppers and onions
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder (I used Kinders, caramelized onion)
  • ¼ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 4 burrito sized tortillas
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella or provolone cheese
  • Spray oil

Instructions

  1. In your slow cooker add the meat and peppers and onions.
  2. Sprinkle over the seasoning and beef broth.
  3. Slow cook on high for 3-4 hours, low 4-6 hours until your beef is tender. Slow cookers vary so check your beef for tenderness.
  4. Drain the juice from the beef and start to assemble your quesadillas.
  5. Evenly distribute the cheese between the 4 tortillas.
  6. Place a quarter of the meat on each tortilla.
  7. In a large non-stick skillet over medium high heat spray a little oil and place down one of the tortillas with the meat and cheese.
  8. Cook the quesadilla for 2-3 minutes until the bottom golden.
  9. Using a spatula fold the quesadilla over and remove from pan.
  10. Cut in half and serve.
