Ingredients
- 3-cups rotisserie chicken, shredded
- 1-12oz package baked cubed ham
- 8 slices swiss cheese
- 1/2 cup seasoned croutons, ground into crumbs
- 2 tbsp avocado oil (or olive oil)
- chopped parsley for garnish
For the sauce:
- 2-10.5oz cans of cream of chicken soup with herbs
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1-0.7oz package Italian dressing mix
How to make chicken cordon bleu casserole
This recipe is very easy to make and can be made in either a casserole dish or cast iron skillet.
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees and spread the avocado oil in the bottom of the skillet, (if using a casserole dish spray lightly with nonstick cooking spray.
In a medium bowl mix cream of chicken soup(do not dilute with water), sour cream, and Italian dressing mix and set aside.
Spread chicken evenly over the bottom of skillet and top evenly with ham.
Spread the sauce evenly over the top of the ham and layer with slices of swiss cheese. Sprinkle with crouton crumbs and bake for 30 minutes. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and serve.
