Festive Strawberry Champagne Margarita Punch
This fun and festive Sparkling Strawberry Margarita Punch is such a delicious and easy party drink recipe. If you like margaritas, you’ll love this Champagne punch. Cheers to New Year’s Eve, Cinco de Mayo, and more!
- Prep: 5 mins
- Servings: 8
Ingredients
- 15 ounces frozen strawberries
- 24 ounces lemon lime soda
- 1 can frozen limeade concentrate, 12 ounce can
- 2 cups orange juice, no pulp
- 1/2 cup Blanco Tequila, more to taste
- 1 bottle dry champagne, such as Brut
- fresh limes and strawberries for garnish
Instructions
- In a high powered blender (I love my Blendtec), blend together the frozen strawberries and lemon lime soda on high until fully combined and smooth.
- Pour strawberry mixture into a very large pitcher or punch bowl and stir in the limeade concentrate. Pour in the orange juice and stir to combine. Give it a taste. I love it just like this, but if you find it too tart, add 1-2 cups water.
- Stir in the tequila and champagne and garnish with fresh lime and strawberry slices.
- Serve immediately as the frozen strawberries and limeade concentrate will keep things cold, or store in the fridge and serve over ice. (Give it a good stir before serving)
- Cheers!

Sparkling Strawberry Margarita Punch
- Servings: 1 large pitcher
Ingredients
- 16 oz. fresh strawberries, hulls removed (can also use frozen)
- 1 can frozen limeade concentrate
- 4 cups water, divided. May need more (can also use sparkling water for a fizzier punch)
- 2 cups orange juice, without pulp
- 4 cups strawberry soda
- 1 1/2 cups tequila, can use more
- 1/2 cup Cointreau or triple sec, can use more
Instructions
- Process 1 cup of water and strawberries in a food processor until smooth.
- Add to a large pitcher.
- Stir in frozen limeade.
- Add in orange juice, strawberry soda, tequila, and Cointreau.
- Stir in 3 cups of water. (Can use more water if you think it’s too sweet, but remember punch is supposed to be sweet so don’t water it down too much.)
Notes
Want more fizz? Use sparkling water and serve it the day you make it.
The strawberry flavors of the punch taste stronger the next day, but the taste of alcohol is pretty much nonexistent the next day so keep that in mind, depending on what you’re going for here.
Strawberry Basil Margarita Punch
- MAKES 1 pitcher
- SERVES 8
INGREDIENTS
- 1 can (12 ounces) frozen limeade concentrate
- 10 strawberries (or 12 if you’re using smaller ones from the farmer’s market or your backyard)
- 8 basil leaves
- 2 to 2 1/2 cups tequila (gold or silver)
INSTRUCTIONS
- Empty the limeade concentrate into a pitcher. Add 2 1/2 cans of water and 1 1/2 (18 ounces, or 2 1/4 cups) cans of tequila (or a bit less, if you don’t want your drinks to be quite as strong).
- Hull the strawberries, slice lengthwise, and add to the pitcher. Crumple the basil a little in your hands (this will help the basil flavor release into the drink) and add it to the pitcher, too. Place the pitcher, covered, in the fridge overnight, or for at least four hours.
- When you remove the pitcher from the fridge, your margaritas will be a lovely pale pink color. Now all you have to do is serve them and wait for the compliments to pour in.
